COUNTRY CLUB HOME BUILD

Ashland

This was a custom 3,000+ square foot home build on a handsome lot adjacent to Framingham Country Club in Ashland. The prevalent use of stonework complements the stucco exterior finishes. In harmony with the nature that surrounds it, the cobblestone and brick façade and the granite hardscape nod to the gently wooded location allowing this custom build to blend seamlessly with the lush landscape that frames the property. A spacious granite slab patio provides room to relax and entertain with views of the natural beauty that surrounds the home and out to the fairway beyond.

Unique characteristics:  This home offers a casually elegant interior to harmonize with the stately “bricks and cobbles” that adorn the exterior. Featuring weeping arches over an eight foot tall custom wood door and patio doors with French-paned glass offer a seamless visual transition from the landscaped grounds to the inviting interior. Fine custom-built shelving in both the study and family room offer tidy storage combined with a way to showcase treasures and collectibles. Tall curved cased openings are featured throughout dining and living spaces which provides some subtle architectural interest. A main-floor primary suite and sunken family room offer one-level day-to-day living.

Upstairs adjacent to the bedrooms an open sitting area overlooks the kitchen and family room.
